Need For Speed Most Wanted 2005 PC v1.3: Black Screen During Challenge Race (Tollbooth) #69 but can be anything in Challenge Mode I'll submit a pic of the problem below so everyone can know exactly what I'm talking about: I like to play in challenge mode so it doesn't affect my career stats.say, if I'm busted or something. Remember, this happens in challenge mode only. All I know to do about that so far is, to pause the game and exit to the main menu. Plus: there's no way out of the issue once it starts. whenever I'm in a Challenge series race (can be tollbooth race or anything within that mode of gameplay), it happened all of a sudden: the screen (environment around me) goes pure black and I can still see the speedometor and the HUD radar but it's glitchy looking. I wanted to make the game better to experience when I played it, but, I've noticed that when I use the Resolution Fix HD, and press the 1-button on the num pad for infinite nitrous-oxide. Recently, I downloaded the Extra Options cheats and the NFS Most Wanted Resolution Fix HD.
